Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Ringo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Addy Sid!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ringo scores with a nice strike.
Sid throws a looping overhand right but Ringo ducks down to avoid it.
It looked like Ringo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Sid walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ringo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Sid on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ringo scores with a nice right hand.
Sid is rocked!
Sid gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Ringo gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Sid is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Ringo!
After winning the bout, Johnny Ringo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
