The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wife scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Rufus Rutger has been cut.
Wife throws a big shot that misses.
Wife throws a hook to the side of Rutger's head but Rutger sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A telegraphed right hand from Wife misses the target.
Wife misses with a hook. Rutger ducked under it nicely.
Rutger steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wife.
Rutger keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wife.
Wife misses with an uppercut. Rutger saw that one coming.
Wife seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Rutger takes the fight into the clinch.
Wife is trying to break the clinch but Rutger is controlling him.
Wife swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Wife.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rutger tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wife's elbow.
Rutger swings wildly with an uppercut but Wife uses good head movement to avoid it.

Wife just misses with a punch to the body.
Wife rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rutger counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wife is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Wife is rocked!
Wife fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rutger manages to avoid it.
Wife misses with a left hand
and Rutger counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Rutger throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Donk. Wife catches Rutger right on the button with a cross.
Wife swings away with a body shot that misses
and Wife takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rutger missing with a left hand there. Wife was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rutger has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rutger bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wife's head.
Wife misses with a lunging right hand
and Rutger counters with a nice uppercut.

Wife fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wife throws a lazy right hand but Rutger sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rutger keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rutger uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wife.
Rutger tries a quick counter leg kick but Wife is wise to it.
Wife swings widly with a right hand
and Rutger counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wife looks to throw the jab but Rutger is out of range.
Rutger moves out of range as Wife strikes.
Wife misses with a hook
and Rutger counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wife misses with a right hand

and Rutger counters with a crisp right hand that drops Wife! Rutger lets Wife back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Wife is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wife rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rutger counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Wife out cold! What a finish! Rutger is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
