Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zoltan Gavinsky!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gavinsky has closed the distance and engaged Daxton in a clinch.
Daxton has had enough of the clinch but Gavinsky keeps him there for the moment.

Gavinsky breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gavinsky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Daxton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Daxton tries to improve position but can't.
Daxton is trying to control Gavinsky's posture but Gavinsky avoids it.
Daxton is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gavinsky just content to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daxton is trying to get back to half guard.
Daxton is trying to escape the position but Gavinsky is controlling the position.

Daxton is trying to buck Gavinsky off.

Gavinsky stands up and beckons Daxton to his feet.

Gavinsky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Daxton can't do much from the bottom here.
Daxton is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gavinsky is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Daxton sneaks back into half guard.
Gavinsky thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Daxton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gavinsky is working away from the top position though.
Gavinsky is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Daxton wants to get back to full guard.
Daxton won't allow Gavinsky to pass to mount.
Gavinsky slows the pace down in half guard.
Daxton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Daxton wants to sweep here but Gavinsky controlling him for the moment.

Gavinsky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daxton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gavinsky has managed to get both his arms back between Daxton's legs - danger averted.

Daxton is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Daxton has his feet on Gavinsky's thighs here. He's pushed Gavinsky off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Gavinsky screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
