Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kerouac (ranked 2601 p4p, 2919 weight class) and Hermann Oestergaard (ranked 331 p4p, 367 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Kerouac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hermann Oestergaard! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oestergaard gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kerouac doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kerouac manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kerouac takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Oestergaard has Kerouac pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kerouac manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kerouac doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Oestergaard looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kerouac controlling the action here for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A right handed body shot lands from Kerouac.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Kerouac tries to throw a body punch but Oestergaard avoids it by throwing Kerouac back against the cage. Kerouac misses with a body punch.
Oestergaard drags the fight down to the ground.
Kerouac wants to pass the guard but Oestergaard is keeping the position. Kerouac in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Oestergaard has control of Kerouac's left arm, preventing Kerouac from doing any damage. Kerouac engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Kerouac postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kerouac engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Oestergaard misses with a combination
and Kerouac makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Oestergaard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kerouac tries to avoid it but Oestergaard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kerouac to the ground. Kerouac escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A jab lands there for Kerouac. Kerouac lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Kerouac throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
We've been told by Kerouac's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kerouac attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Kerouac takes a swing at Oestergaard's ribcage but misses.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Oestergaard gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kerouac misses with a punch to the body.

Jack Kerouac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hermann Oestergaard. Kerouac throws a head punch that misses.
Oestergaard is trying to trip Kerouac. He has hold of a leg but Kerouac is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Oestergaard persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Oestergaard wants to control from the top but Kerouac keeps moving. Oestergaard won't allow Kerouac to sweep him here. Oestergaard wants to control from the top but Kerouac keeps moving. Kerouac is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Oestergaard trying to control the position from guard on top but Kerouac is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oestergaard stopping the sweep attempt from Kerouac. Kerouac pulls Oestergaard in close to prevent any damage.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Kerouac lands with a hook. Oestergaard tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kerouac lands a big head kick that sends Oestergaard tumbling to the mat! Kerouac takes a step backwards and waves Oestergaard back to his feet - he wants the finish!
 Oestergaard is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Oestergaard scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kerouac throws a shot from downtown. Oestergaard moves away and avoids it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Kerouac dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kerouac moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Oestergaard is still on wobbly legs! Can Kerouac finish him? Oestergaard walks straight into a right hand from Kerouac - that's dropped him! Kerouac jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Oestergaard from any more punishment! Oestergaard complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jack Kerouac! After the fight, Jack Kerouac was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
