The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puno throws a body kick that misses.
McGuire tests Puno's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Jeronimo Puno has been cut.
McGuire misses with a hook
and Puno makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
McGuire tries to bum rush Puno with a series of wild strikes but Puno uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McGuire throws a front kick aimed at Puno's knee but Puno avoids it well.
McGuire works the jab nicely.
McGuire takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Puno walks into a straight right hand from McGuire.
Puno uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McGuire.
Puno lands a nice looking body kick.
McGuire is breathing heavily.
Puno lands a slapping body shot.

Puno thumps McGuire with a low kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Puno. That's going to slow McGuire down.
Puno clinches up against the cage.
Puno misses with a hook from the clinch.
McGuire tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Puno throws a blind hook that connects with the side of McGuires head.
Puno lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of McGuire backwards.
McGuire blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Puno tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McGuire's elbow.
