Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bad Dawg (ranked 1768 p4p, 93 weight class) and Lucas Barbosa (ranked 233 p4p, 17 weight class). Bad Dawg has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bad Dawg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lucas Barbosa!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Darius Henderson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawg throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dawg throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barbosa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dawg swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barbosa connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dawg's hands.
Dawg has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Barbosa is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dawg to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dawg shrugs it off.
Dawg knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barbosa on the ground.
Barbosa jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Dawg is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Dawg and Barbosa has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Barbosa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dawg is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Dawg is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Barbosa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Barbosa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lucas Barbosa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Barbosa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
