Hansen comes to the cage accompanied by Post Malone-Rockstar. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Odd Hansen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Lassiter!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lassiter throws a jab but it's blocked by Hansen.
Hansen changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lassiter.
Lassiter throws a body punch but Hansen moves out of range.
Lassiter lands a body shot.
Lassiter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kevin Lassiter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hansen closes the distance and clinches.
A nice left hand lands by Hansen.
Lassiter misses with a punch on the inside.
Hansen can't find room to land a body shot as Lassiter controls the action.
Lassiter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Lassiter tries a body shot but Hansen blocks it.

Lassiter lands a left hand.
Lassiter prevents the takedown attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lassiter struggles to land a body shot inside as Hansen controls his hands.
A right handed body shot lands from Hansen.
Lassiter digs a right hand into Hansen's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hansen's gas tank.
Lassiter misses with a punch to the body.

Hansen wants the takedown. Lassiter is fighting it off but Hansen persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lassiter's guard against the cage.
Hansen wants to control from the top but Lassiter keeps moving.
Lassiter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hansen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hansen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hansen stops Lassiter from standing up.
Hansen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Hansen forces his way into half guard.
Lassiter blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hansen.

Hansen maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lassiter could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hansen has cracked it and Lassiter is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hansen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Odd Hansen!
Odd Hansen decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
