Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Ezuego (ranked 3486 p4p, 5173 weight class) and Jannick Michielsen (ranked 435 p4p, 582 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Ezuego!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jannick Michielsen!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ezuego shoots in but Michielsen avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Ezuego feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Michielsen wants to get back to his feet but Ezuego is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ezuego slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Ezuego seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Michielsen for as long as he can get away with.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Ezuego will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Michielsen is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Oh Ezuego is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ezuego looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
and Michielsen counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ezuego! He's just covering up as Michielsen starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
