Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mika Heining (ranked 4771 p4p, 23339 weight class) and Saipam Muwaitang (ranked 577 p4p, 752 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mika Heining!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Saipam Muwaitang!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heining slips under a jab from Muwaitang.

Heining appears to be looking for a big counter.
Heining shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Saipam Muwaitang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heining uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Muwaitang.
Muwaitang stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Heining.
Heining takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Heining darts in and clinches Muwaitang up against the cage.
Muwaitang is trying to break the clinch but Heining is controlling him.
Heining tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Heining tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Muwaitang wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Muwaitang manages to break the clinch.
Muwaitang misses with an uppercut. Heining saw that one coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muwaitang moves out of range of the body kick from Heining.
Heining missing with a left hand there. Muwaitang was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Heining throws the kick towards the body but Muwaitang avoids it.
Heining moves out of range of the strikes.
Muwaitang connects with a looping right hand.
The fighters circling - Muwaitang throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Heining displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Muwaitang throws out the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Heining clinches with his opponent.
Muwaitang tries to circle away but Heining has him pinned against the cage.
Muwaitang breaks the clinch.
Muwaitang on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Heining tries to bum rush Muwaitang with a series of wild strikes but Muwaitang uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Heining takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A combination from Muwaitang does no damage.
Muwaitang avoids the head kick by Heining.
Heining defending well as Muwaitang loads up on a big left hand.
Heining moves out of range of the strikes.
Heining moves out of range as Muwaitang strikes.
Muwaitang throws a hook but Heining avoids it easily.
Heining tries to counter with a takedown but Muwaitang is quick to defend against it.
Muwaitang blocks a head kick by Heining.
Oooooh!!! Muwaitang has knocked Heining down with a huge combo! Muwaitang steps away and waves a wobbly Heining back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Mika Heining has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
