Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terrance Silver (ranked 4347 p4p, 4348 weight class) and Keith Schwerinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Terrance Silver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Keith Schwerinn! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schwerinn slips under a jab from Silver. Schwerinn is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Schwerinn throws a looping overhand right but Silver ducks down to avoid it. Sloppy strikes from Schwerinn. Those never looked like landing. Schwerinn tries for a takedown but Silver sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Schwerinn moves out of range as Silver strikes. Schwerinn is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Schwerinn shoots in but no luck this time. Schwerinn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And Schwerinn tries to counter it with a takedown but Silver pushes his down on his head and steps out. Silver shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Schwerinn pinned against the cage. Schwerinn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schwerinn fails with a takedown attempt. Terrance Silver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keith Schwerinn. Silver misses the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Silver, as that shot connected.
Silver shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Schwerinn defends it nicely. Silver attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Silver is trying hard to land a takedown here. Schwerinn sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Silver throws a hook but Schwerinn blocks it. Schwerinn fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Silver closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Silver lands with a punch from half guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Silver is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Silver has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Silver is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Schwerinn sees it coming and defends easily. Schwerinn blocking the ground and pound attempt from Silver. Silver working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Silver scores with a couple of good hammerfists. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Schwerinn is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Silver trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Schwerinn is pulling down on Silver's head. It's preventing any offense from Silver, at least for the moment. Schwerinn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silver defends well. Silver trying to control but Schwerinn is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silver wants to pass the guard but Schwerinn is keeping the position. Terrance Silver dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Silver tries for a takedown but Schwerinn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Silver shoots in but Schwerinn avoids the takedown attempt easily. Schwerinn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Silver throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Schwerinn sees it coming and avoids it easily. Silver throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Silver is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Schwerinn can do to turn this around? Silver stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silver wants it to stay on the feet. Silver feinted with a counter takedown. Silver shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Schwerinn but Schwerinn pushes him off and we're back to square one. Schwerinn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silver's guard. Schwerinn wants to control from the top but Silver keeps moving.

Silver avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Schwerinn throws a big right hand that misses. Silver has momentary wrist control but Schwerinn slips an elbow through the middle. Schwerinn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silver wants to sweep here but Schwerinn controlling him for the moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Silver keeping moving, preventing Schwerinn from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Schwerinn scoring with some ground and pound. Schwerinn trying to control but Silver is working from the bottom. Schwerinn passes Silver's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Silver trying to control from the bottom.
Silver gets full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silver is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Silver takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Schwerinn wants to get back to full guard but Silver has passed into side control. Silver working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Schwerinn sneaks back into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The fighters are battling for position here. Schwerinn manages to regain full guard. Nice work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silver accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Silver landing with the ground and pound. Schwerinn looking for a sweep. Not yet Schwerinn, not yet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Keith Schwerinn will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Silver's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round! A low kick from Silver is predictable there and Schwerinn counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Schwerinn lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schwerinn scoring with strikes to the body and head. Silver is trying to control but Schwerinn passes into side control!
Silver struggling a bit here. Silver looking for a sweep but Schwerinn has passed into full mount! Oh no! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schwerinn lands a couple of good shots and Silver has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Schwerinn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Schwerinn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silver's guard. Silver looking for a sweep. Not yet Silver, not yet. Silver is working hard here to advance position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silver utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Silver wants to sweep but no luck. Schwerinn trying to control but Silver is working from the bottom. Silver throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Schwerinn is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Schwerinn passes easily into side control. Nice work. Silver is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silver is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Keith Schwerinn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Schwerinn has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
