Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Saul Pousa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Indrija Mattei!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pousa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mattei stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mattei throws an off balance right hand
and Pousa counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Pousa doesn't manage to clinch there - Mattei circles away.
Mattei misses with a left hand
and Pousa counters with a crisp one two that drops Mattei! Pousa thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mattei to his feet! Mattei is in big trouble!
Mattei is rocked!
Mattei ducks into an uppercut from Pousa and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Saul Pousa!
