Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Spanish Harlem (ranked 24898 p4p, 6239 weight class) and Jim McCluskey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCluskey has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Jim McCluskey acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Spanish Harlem! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim McCluskey! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harlem throws a head kick that misses. McCluskey lands a glancing blow to the side of Harlem's head. McCluskey misses with a jab, cross combination.
McCluskey throws a right and a left that both miss. Harlem tries to clinch but McCluskey moves out of range. Harlem looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McCluskey is fending him off so far but Harlem persists. Nope, McCluskey circles away and we're back to standing. Harlem goes for a double leg but McCluskey avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as McCluskey continues to drive forward. Harlem manages to break the clinch.
McCluskey works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Harlem moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCluskey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Harlem fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCluskey manages to avoid it. Some wild striking there from McCluskey.
McCluskey tries to keep at a distance but Harlem has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harlem can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spanish Harlem. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harlem breaks the clinch.
McCluskey looks to land a combination. Harlem sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Harlem slips a jab from McCluskey. Harlem circles away from the clinch attempt.
McCluskey looks winded! Harlem throws a sloppy head kick and McCluskey moves out of range easily. McCluskey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McCluskey looks to land a right hand but Harlem moved out of range. Harlem closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Harlem can't get the takedown.
Harlem jumps into guard, dragging McCluskey to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harlem is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! McCluskey has his hands clasped together but Harlem extends and breaks McCluskey's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Harlem.
