The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Corey gets the takedown into side control. Pripyat looks to move to half guard but instead Corey has passed into mount! Damn! Score +2 for reaching mount: Corey (6) vs (0) Pripyat Pripyat can't escape the position.
Corey tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Corey wants to take Pripyat's back here but Pripyat is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Corey trying to control the position from guard on top but Pripyat is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pripyat has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Corey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Pripyat looking to hit a scissor sweep but Corey is one step ahead there. Corey controls from within his opponent's guard.
