Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Landon McGuire!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McGuire lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Barkley has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Barkley and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
As McGuire backs away, Barkley returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
McGuire takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nice body kick from McGuire.
Barkley has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Primal Concrete Gym in the buildup to the fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Barkley. McGuire does a little dance to reset his feet.

McGuire throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

McGuire lands a high kick to the side of Barkley's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! McGuire dives into guard, looking to finish.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McGuire sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

McGuire chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barkley can pounce on him.
A jab from Barkley finds it's way through McGuire's defenses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barkley throws a push kick but McGuire slaps the foot to one side.

Barkley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Barkley has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by McGuire.

McGuire takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

The crowd cheers as McGuire lands an impressive looking overhand right. Barkley doesn't seem phased though.
McGuire thows a body kick. Barkley tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Barkley throws a jab but it's blocked by McGuire.

McGuire throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Barkley was covering up waiting for the punch and McGuire finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGuire throws a big right hand that misses.
McGuire engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McGuire accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McGuire postures up in Barkley's guard and throws a big left but Barkley blocks it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McGuire closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Barkley quickly recovers to half guard.
McGuire is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Barkley is trying to stand up here but McGuire is controlling him well.
Barkley is staying active underneath McGuire, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGuire has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Barkley defend it? McGuire steps over the head and cranks it - Barkley is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for McGuire!
