Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bitor Belport (ranked 2811 p4p, 3277 weight class) and Davido Monto (ranked 399 p4p, 445 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bitor Belport!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Davido Monto!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belport is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Monto.
Belport throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Monto counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Belport scrambles and gets back to his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Monto has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Monto closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Monto lands in his opponent's guard.

Monto has gone for a leg lock! Belport slips out almost immediately though and dives into Monto's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Belport throws a big elbow that misses.
Belport has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Monto working for submissions but it's allowed Belport to get to half guard.
Monto is refusing to be controlled, as Belport sits in half guard.

Monto flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Monto tries to get to full guard but Belport has control of the leg.

Monto has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Belport is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Monto.
Monto is looking to regain half guard here but Belport keeps moving and retains side control.

Monto sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Monto tries to roll over but Belport keeps him under control.
Well, if Belport is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Monto has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Belport. Oh but Monto has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Belport goes limp - he's gone! Monto jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
