Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kermit Archer (ranked 764 p4p, 1285 weight class) and Dubaku Womba (ranked 101 p4p, 176 weight class). Womba is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Damian Marley - Road to Zion ft. Nas. Dubaku Womba has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kermit Archer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dubaku Womba! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some bone on bone action there as Womba checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Archer scores with a nice body kick.
Archer throws a series of punches but Womba avoids them all with ease. Archer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Archer on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Womba takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Womba shoots in and bounces Archer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Archer wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Womba wants to control from the top but Archer keeps moving. Archer wants to sweep here but Womba controlling him for the moment. Archer pulls Womba in to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Womba trying to control but Archer is working from the bottom. Archer working a defensive guard here.
Womba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Archer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Womba looking to sit in guard and control but Archer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Archer looking to pass the guard. Womba looking to control.
Womba looking for a guillotine here but Archer defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Archer throwing strikes but missing. Womba looking for a sweep. Not yet Womba, not yet. Archer lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Archer landing some decent shots from guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Archer's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Womba working for a triangle but Archer defends it easily.
Archer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Womba works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Archer landing some decent shots from guard. Archer stopping the sweep attempt from Womba. Archer with a nice head shot there. Archer trying to control the position from guard on top but Womba is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Archer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Womba tries to bench press Archer off him but Archer keeps the position. Archer cracks Womba with an elbow. That is naaassty. Archer working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Womba is looking to reverse the position. Womba is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Archer in side control lands a decent elbow. Womba is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Womba prevents Archer from moving into mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Womba is looking for a sweep. Archer cracks Womba with an elbow. That is naaassty. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kermit Archer dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Womba takes a body punch but keeps moving.
It looks like Dubaku Womba has been cut. Womba pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Archer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Womba avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Archer. Archer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Womba knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Archer not landing any meaningful shots this time. Womba wants to control but Archer is keeping busy.
Womba wants to improve his position but Archer is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Womba is refusing to be controlled, as Archer sits in half guard. Womba is looking to control Archer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Womba avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Womba gets full guard. Kermit Archer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Archer with a flurry of punches that miss. Archer content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Womba has locked up a guillotine! Womba's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Archer is holding on here and Womba must be using up a lot of energy. Archer has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Womba gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Dubaku Womba! During a confident post fight interview, Dubaku Womba thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. In defeat, Kermit Archer stepped up to the mic, saying 'The election is rigged.'.
