Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Alistair Overeem (ranked 3190 p4p, 6150 weight class) and Barnabas Munoz (ranked 417 p4p, 701 weight class). Overeem comes to the ring accompanied by Het Wilhelmus. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz cracks Overeem with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Munoz avoids the head kick by Overeem.
The crowd cheers as Munoz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Overeem doesn't seem phased though.
Overeem takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nice shot lands for Munoz.
Overeem misses with a hook
and Munoz counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Munoz goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Overeem connects with a jab.
It looks like Barnabas Munoz has been cut.

Munoz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Munoz moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Overeem swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Munoz.

Munoz connects with a right hand. Overeem shakes it off.

Munoz lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Munoz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Overeem is trying to break free.

Munoz fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Overeem moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Overeem doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Munoz connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Munoz moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Munoz is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Overeem had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Overeem walks into a left hand.
Munoz dips to his left and cracks Overeem with an uppercut!
Overeem tries to keep at a distance but Munoz has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Munoz lands a knee to the body.
Munoz scores with a knee to the head.
Overeem is rocked!
It looks like Alistair Overeem has been cut.
Munoz softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Oh Overeem is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Overeem is trying to break the clinch but Munoz has him pressed against the ropes.
Munoz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Munoz moves into the clinch successfully.
Munoz has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops Overeem to the canvas! Can Overeem beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's waved off the fight! He didn't think Overeem was in a fit state to continue so this fight is over! Munoz is your winner!
