Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Tidd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 60 - 129 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fyodor Pending!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tidd drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Tidd controlling from the top position.
Tidd is in close to Pending's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Tidd has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tidd seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Tidd sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pending's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tidd connects with a nice short shot to Pending's temple.

Tidd is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pending is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pending flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Tidd anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pending and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Tidd slips an arm under Pending chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Tidd has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Tidd is squeezing on Pending like an anaconda would it's prey. Pending fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
