Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ersan Ozdemiroglu (ranked 4087 p4p, 5245 weight class) and Alberto Dontey (ranked 384 p4p, 425 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dontey closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ozdemiroglu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ozdemiroglu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dontey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dontey.
Dontey goes for a double leg but Ozdemiroglu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ozdemiroglu continues to drive forward.
Ersan Ozdemiroglu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alberto Dontey.
Dontey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ozdemiroglu circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dontey is trying to break the clinch but Ozdemiroglu has him pressed against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Ozdemiroglu.

Ozdemiroglu has Dontey pressed against the cage, preventing Dontey from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Ozdemiroglu lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Dontey to his knees! Ozdemiroglu keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
