Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darren Dixon (ranked 88 p4p, 347 weight class) and Calixto Cardona (ranked 11 p4p, 43 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darren Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Calixto Cardona!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon shoots for a takedown but Cardona saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cardona only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Dixon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Dixon is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Cardona still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Cardona has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
