Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buford BoDean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Randy Bobandy!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobandy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BoDean moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bobandy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Horrible takedown attempt by Bobandy or perhaps it was just good defense by BoDean, which made it look bad.
Bobandy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. BoDean manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
BoDean can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bobandy controls the pace.

BoDean is looking for a triangle but Bobandy pushes his legs off easily.

and BoDean counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

BoDean misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bobandy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. BoDean tries to avoid it but Bobandy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag BoDean to the ground. BoDean escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
BoDean throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bobandy dives in and grabs BoDean's left leg, looking for a takedown. BoDean pushes down on Bobandy's head and hops out.
Bobandy is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

BoDean is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bobandy is just too persistent for him and manages to trip BoDean to the mat. BoDean regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Buford BoDean.
I think Bobandy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
