The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turgeon lands an overhand right.

Kalske clinches up with Turgeon and pushes him back against the cage.

Turgeon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kalske has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turgeon has managed to get both his arms back between Kalske's legs - danger averted.

Turgeon felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

It looks like Patrick Turgeon has been cut.
Kalske gets to his feet and stands over Turgeon, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Turgeon felt that one! Kalske unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Turgeon from any more punishment!
