With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Red Greene!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazaro throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Greene takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Salazaro moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Greene or perhaps it was just good defense by Salazaro, which made it look bad.
Salazaro misses with a body kick.
Salazaro fails in his attempt to clinch.
Salazaro moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Salazaro lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salazaro moves in looking to clinch but Greene pushes him off.
Greene fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Greene shoots in but Salazaro avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jesus Salazaro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Red Greene.

Greene fails to land the takedown.
Salazaro throws a right and a left that both miss.
Salazaro keeps Greene at a distance using the push kick.
Salazaro turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Salazaro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Salazaro wants it to stay on the feet.
Greene keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Greene is defended easily by Salazaro.
Salazaro lands a nice looking body kick.

Greene misses the jab.
And Salazaro counters with a quick kick to the body but Greene blocks it.
Salazaro fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Greene has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Salazaro delivers a nice body kick.
Salazaro looks for the body kick but Greene saw that one coming.
Salazaro looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Salazaro throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Salazaro looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Greene walks forward, straight into a front kick from Salazaro.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Salazaro fakes the leg kick and cracks Greene in the body.
Greene looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Greene crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Salazaro - the referee stops the clock and Greene gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Salazaro. Greene manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Jesus Salazaro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Greene dives in and grabs Salazaro's left leg, looking for a takedown. Salazaro pushes down on Greene's head and hops out.
Salazaro throws a head kick that misses.

Greene shoots and misses
and Salazaro counters with a three punch combo that has Greene backing up. Greene nods at Salazaro to acknowledge the strikes.
Greene misses with a takedown
and Salazaro counters with a left and a right that stings Greene.
Salazaro explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Salazaro clinches.
Greene has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Salazaro.
Salazaro gets underhooks to prevent Greene's takedown attempt.
Greene tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Greene jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Salazaro walks away with a smile on his face. Greene gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Greene closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Greene tries for a kimura but Salazaro is defending well.
Salazaro is trying to control Greene's posture but Greene avoids it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Greene in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Salazaro is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Red Greene!
