The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honda fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The fighters circling - Lemieux throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Honda closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lemieux quickly recovers to half guard.
Lemieux trying to hold on to Honda's head to control him but Honda postures up.
Lemieux is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Honda's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Honda's back!
Honda tries to roll but Lemieux sticks to his back.
Lemieux is riding his opponent, not letting Honda buck him off.
Honda tries to escape but Lemieux has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lemieux lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Honda manages to reverse the position and now he's in Lemieux's guard. Nice work there by Honda.

Lemieux pulls Honda in close to prevent any damage.

Lemieux is looking for a triangle but Honda pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Honda connects with a couple of short punches.

Lemieux throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Honda escapes and throws Lemieux's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Honda is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lemieux has escaped the position, nice work there.

Honda slips a nice elbow through Lemieux's hands, connecting with Lemieux's forehead.

Honda frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Honda pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Lemieux working to try and regain half guard.
Honda landing strikes from the mount and Lemieux is in trouble!

Honda with shots to the head and body - Lemieux looks very uncomfortable down there.

Honda is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Lemieux goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Honda!
