The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venegas tries for a takedown but Hall circles away easily

and Hall counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Hall manages to pull guard.
Hall keeping moving, preventing Venegas from controlling successfully.
Venegas is in close to Hall's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Venegas postures up and lands a big shot to Hall's brow.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hall holds on and takes a little breather.

Hall definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hall had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Venegas defends it easily.

Hall seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Venegas does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Venegas wants to control the position but Hall says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
