Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Lancaster (ranked 1595 p4p, 1843 weight class) and Leonard Susskind (ranked 236 p4p, 268 weight class). Lancaster comes to the cage accompanied by Slipknot - I Am Hated. On his way into the cage it seems that Shane Lancaster has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shane Lancaster seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Lancaster throws an elbow but Susskind slips to the side and avoids it well.
Susskind trying to remain calm as Lancaster controls from the top position.
Lancaster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lancaster gets to mount! Susskind was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Lancaster misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Lancaster lands a heavy elbow.
It looks like Leonard Susskind has been cut.
Lancaster prevents Susskind from getting the reversal.
Susskind is squirming around, avoiding Lancaster's attempts to control the action.
Lancaster thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Lancaster throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Susskind because Lancaster loaded up on that one.

That has opened up Leonard Susskind's cut even more.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Leonard Susskind's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Shane Lancaster is the new heavyweight champion!
After winning the bout, Shane Lancaster thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
