And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Chuggz!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ben Hemmingworth and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putangina tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Chuggz counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Chuggz has eaten all the pies!
Chuggz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Chuggz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chuggz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Putangina controls Chuggz momentarily but Chuggz frees himself.
Chuggz drops back looking for a leg! Putangina is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Putangina manages to kick Chuggz off! Chuggz jumps back into Putangina's guard.
Putangina is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Chuggz slips nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chuggz maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Putangina could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Chuggz has cracked it and Putangina is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Chuggz!
