Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Daniel Dimitrov (ranked 5020 p4p, 22884 weight class) and Taz Bandichoo (ranked 156 p4p, 121 weight class). Dimitrov comes to the ring accompanied by Drake - Energy. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 39 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Dimitrov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 33 - 36 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Taz Bandichoo! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bandichoo throws the kick towards the body but Dimitrov avoids it. Bandichoo throws out a loose jab but Dimitrov uses good head movement to avoid it. Dimitrov tries to clinch up and Bandichoo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Daniel Dimitrov has been cut. Bandichoo blocks a jab. A shot to the body from Dimitrov misses and Bandichoo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dimitrov thinking. Bandichoo throws the left hand but Dimitrov avoids the punch easily. Dimitrov throws a nice looking combination but Bandichoo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bandichoo appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. A clash of legs there as Dimitrov blocks the low kick. Dimitrov checks a leg kick nicely. Dimitrov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Dimitrov misses with a wild combination.
Bandichoo let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Bandichoo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bandichoo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Dimitrov pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Good shot there by Dimitrov. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bandichoo misses with a looping left. Bandichoo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Dimitrov misses the body punch and Bandichoo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dimitrov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dimitrov slips under a jab. Dimitrov looks to land a right hand but Bandichoo moved out of range. Bandichoo loads up on a big right hand but Dimitrov slips the punch. Bandichoo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Dimitrov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bandichoo moves away. Bandichoo staying out of range there. Bandichoo just misses with a punch to the body.

Dimitrov connects with a high kick.
It looks like Taz Bandichoo has been cut. Daniel Dimitrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dimitrov feints and then cracks Bandichoo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bandichoo down. Bandichoo throws a leg kick that misses. Dimitrov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dimitrov throws a jab when Bandichoo was well out of range. Bandichoo lands a right hook to the body.
Bandichoo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bandichoo connects with a single shot there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dimitrov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dimitrov lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dimitrov scores with a body shot.
Bandichoo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A left lands for Dimitrov. Bandichoo takes one to the side of the head.
Bandichoo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bandichoo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dimitrov manages to avoid it. Bandichoo misses with a body kick. Bandichoo walks into a big right hand from Dimitrov and goes down! The referee sends Dimitrov to a neutral corner as Bandichoo gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way. Bandichoo swings away with a leg kick that misses. Bandichoo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bandichoo looks winded! Bandichoo leaves his chin hanging out and Dimitrov seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Bandichoo crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Daniel Dimitrov! Daniel Dimitrov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
