The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popkov lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Eric Osiris has been cut.
Osiris has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Osiris there as he acknowledges the shot.
Osiris has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Primal Concrete Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Popkov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Popkov connects with a right hand. Osiris shakes it off.
Osiris with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Popkov to score with a decent uppercut.
Mikhail Popkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Popkov throws a right and a left that Osiris avoids nicely.
Osiris is looking to counter punch.

Popkov thuds his right hand into Osiris's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Eric Osiris's cut is getting worse.
Osiris is holding his hands too far apart here. Popkov throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Osiris is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
