These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Durant throws out a head kick that Pain doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Pain crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Pain's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

Durant drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Pain onto his butt! Pain pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

and Durant counters with a big uppercut that drops Pain face first to the mat! Will he beat the count?! He's struggled up to his knees on 7 but it doesn't look like he's going to make it... he's been counted out! This fight is all over!

Kevin Durant spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
