The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archambeau looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Archambeau swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting McJerkins counter with a right hand.
Mason Archambeau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Archambeau throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Archambeau has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Archambeau there as he acknowledges the shot.
Archambeau goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and McJerkins counters with a straight right hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Archambeau throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Archambeau throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McJerkins sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Archambeau swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McJerkins makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
McJerkins ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Archambeau misses with a series of wild punches.
Archambeau is breathing heavily.
Archambeau is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Archambeau is rocked!
McJerkins closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Archambeau out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
