Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amara Kan (ranked 3583 p4p, 3576 weight class) and Jarrod Beard (ranked 434 p4p, 432 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amara Kan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarrod Beard!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kan moves away from the strike by Beard.
Beard misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kan.
Kan gets caught flat footed, as Beard shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Beard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Beard wants to control from the top but Kan keeps moving.
Beard lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Kan is trying to keep Beard in close.
Beard postures up in Kan's guard and throws a big left but Kan blocks it.
Beard missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kan looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Beard passes into side control.
Beard wants to control but Kan is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beard in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Kan is trying to control Beard's posture but Beard avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Beard working the ground and pound.
Kan trying his best to control but Beard has mounted him.
Kan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Beard postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kan looks a forlorn figure.
Beard trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Beard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kan wants to control but Beard is having none of it.
Beard lands a big shot there that rocks Kan but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

A big strike lands for Beard! That's really hurt Kan and he's turned his back - Beard keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Beard jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
