Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pat Poutine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nate Diaz! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poutine gets caught flat footed, as Diaz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Poutine is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Diaz is controlling him. Diaz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Poutine's guard. Diaz not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz seems to be looking for submissions.
Diaz is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Poutine is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
