The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nbaku misses with a low kick.
Ann tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nbaku was well out of range. Poor timing from Ann.

Ann lands a left and a right that send Nbaku crashing to the mat, dazed. Ann thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Afa Nbaku has been cut.
Afa Nbaku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nbaku uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ann.

The fighters circle momentarily. Nbaku darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nbaku takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
