Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kai Blanche (ranked 3951 p4p, 3848 weight class) and Jhanlo Sanguiao (ranked 380 p4p, 369 weight class). Jhanlo Sanguiao is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kai Blanche!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jhanlo Sanguiao!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanche will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sanguiao darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Blanche walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Blanche cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Blanche lands a couple of good shots and Sanguiao has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Blanche looking to break Sanguiao's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Sanguiao remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Blanche will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Blanche is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Blanche gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Blanche gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Blanche apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Sanguiao lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
