Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hamish McTavish (ranked 19499 p4p, 3895 weight class) and Lorenzo Bianchi (ranked 190 p4p, 97 weight class). Bianchi has chosen Frank Sinatra - Bim Bam Baby as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lorenzo Bianchi!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTavish closes the distance and clinches up with Bianchi, looking for a takedown. McTavish pushes Bianchi against the cage but Bianchi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bianchi throws a jab when McTavish was well out of range.
Lorenzo Bianchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McTavish uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bianchi.
Bianchi's coach down at Cause & Effect was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bianchi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

McTavish goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bianchi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for McTavish but great work by Bianchi.

Bianchi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McTavish is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
McTavish takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

McTavish remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
