Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Biederman (ranked 1156 p4p, 1172 weight class) and Marko Zrinski (ranked 174 p4p, 178 weight class). Zrinski is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Devil eyes. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nelson Biederman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marko Zrinski! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Biederman. Biederman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Zrinski lunges at Biederman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Biederman's hand. Biederman throws the left hand but Zrinski avoids the punch easily. Biederman fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zrinski avoids it really well and circles away. Zrinski fakes the leg kick and cracks Biederman in the body. Zrinski takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Zrinski throws a front kick aimed at Biederman's knee but Biederman avoids it well. Zrinski checks a leg kick. Nice uppercut there from Zrinski. Biederman thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Zrinski if he has to take too many more of those.

Marko Zrinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zrinski throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Biederman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Zrinski misses with a right hand and Biederman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! No luck for Biederman with that takedown attempt. Biederman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Biederman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zrinski.
Biederman throws a wild body kick that Zrinski sees coming a mile off. Biederman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zrinski was well out of range. Poor timing from Biederman. Biederman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Zrinski takes a shot right to the bread basket. Zrinski connects with a right hand. Biederman shakes it off. Biederman shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nelson Biederman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zrinski throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. A jab from Biederman finds it's way through Zrinski's defenses. Marko Zrinski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Zrinski slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Biederman throws out a leg kick but Zrinski moves out of range and Biederman only half commits. Biederman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Zrinski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Biederman. Biederman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Zrinski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Biederman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zrinski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. A lull in the action here as Biederman stalls from top position. Biederman working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Zrinski felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Biederman in side control, throwing shots but Zrinski defends. Biederman throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. You can see the frustration on Zrinski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zrinski can do anything to dispel that myth. Zrinski defending against the ground and pound. Biederman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Biederman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Biederman is trying to get an arm triangle but Zrinski is defending well. Biederman works to advance to full mount. Zrinski defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Biederman throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Biederman tries to control but Zrinski wriggling away. Biederman looking to finish with strikes here!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Biederman is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Zrinski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Zrinski shrugs it off. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Zrinski throws an overhand right that lands on Biederman's shoulder, as Biederman tries to avoid the shot. Biederman will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Zrinski is staying active underneath Biederman, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Biederman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zrinski is just riding it out for now. Biederman eventually gives up the hold. Zrinski blocking the ground and pound attempt from Biederman. Zrinski is trying to maintain the position but Biederman is very close to passing his half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Biederman trying to control the action but Zrinski is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Biederman throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Marko Zrinski. I think Zrinski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
