Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bob (ranked 3673 p4p, 5298 weight class) and Todd Rodd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bob Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Todd Rodd! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Rodd's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bob under the eye. Bob fails to land with a series of punches.
Bob on the wrong end of a nice jab. Rodd lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Rodd moves out of range of the strikes. Rodd throws out a counter right but Bob avoids it with no problem. Bob tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Bob. Bob definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A combination from Rodd does no damage. Bob misses with an uppercut. Rodd lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rodd lands an overhand right. Rodd uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bob.
A little jabbing left from Rodd on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodd moves into the clinch successfully.
Bob prevents a body shot from Rodd. Rodd can't find room to land a body shot as Bob controls the action.
Rodd has Bob pressed against the cage, preventing Bob from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rodd swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Rodd has a couple of punches blocked by Bob.
Rodd prevents Bob from breaking the clinch. Bob breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rodd misses with a body punch
and Bob counters with a lovely shot to the body. Bob misses with a wild combination.
Bob Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crunch! Bob slams his shin into Rodd's torso.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rodd throws an off balance right hand
and Bob counters with a three punch combo that has Rodd backing up. Rodd nods at Bob to acknowledge the strikes. Bob throws a head kick but Rodd moves out of range.
Bob throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bob misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rodd now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bob throws a series of punches but Rodd avoids them all with ease. Bob ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Rodd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bob was well out of range. Poor timing from Rodd. Bob throws an overhand right that lands on Rodd's shoulder, as Rodd tries to avoid the shot. Bob will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodd throws a right hand that misses
and Bob counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Rodd blocks a low kick nicely. Bob's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bob duly obliges. Bob ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rodd moves away. Bob fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Rodd throws a good cross that connects.
Rodd cracks Bob with an open hand slap. Bob slips a jab from Rodd. Bob takes one to the chin there. Rodd blocks the body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bob misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rodd.
Rodd swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Bob slips under a jab from Rodd. This has been an exciting period of action! Rodd bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Bob misses the shot to the body. Rodd fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Rodd cracks Bob with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rodd has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bob to stand back up!
Bob is rocked! Rodd closes the distance and clinches. Oh Bob is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rodd scores with an uppercut up the middle. A right handed body shot lands from Rodd.
Rodd lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bob backwards. Rodd creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Bob with a big uppercut! Bob tries to clinch up but Rodd pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Bob to the mat! Bob covers up and Rodd unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Todd Rodd!
