CWC 305 - Prelims PBP Commentary |
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 7 losses; Jaro Lalla! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 31 wins and 31 losses; Ishiihara Sakuraba! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Sakuraba shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lalla as he avoids it easily. Lalla half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Sakuraba manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lalla on his heels. He'll look to pass Lalla's guard now, I'm sure. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Lalla (0) vs (2) Sakuraba Lalla is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sakuraba defends well. Lalla throws his legs up looking for a submission but Sakuraba uses it to pass to side control.

And that's the end of the fight! Sakuraba wins on points by 22 to 2. A very excited looking Ishiihara Sakuraba rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. In defeat, Jaro Lalla stepped up to the mic, saying '$#%@@@!!! SHIT!!!!! FUC@#$ YOU ALL!@#$#@@'. |
