Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Blikstein (ranked 633 p4p, 541 weight class) and James Hunt (ranked 98 p4p, 79 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Blikstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blikstein has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Blikstein there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hunt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Blikstein.

Hunt felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Blikstein looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hunt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

I would just about give that final round to James Hunt.
I think Hunt has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

James Hunt opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
