Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Wrecks (ranked 285 p4p, 420 weight class) and Akuma Manivong (ranked 50 p4p, 73 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Akuma Manivong!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manivong throws a sloppy head kick and Wrecks moves out of range easily.
Wrecks has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Wrecks lands a jab to Manivong's midsection.
Wrecks lands a big head kick that sends Manivong tumbling to the mat! Wrecks takes a step backwards and waves Manivong back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Akuma Manivong has been cut.
Manivong tries for a takedown but Wrecks circles away easily
and Wrecks counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Manivong off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Wrecks follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Manivong was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Will Wrecks!
