Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Channel Coco (ranked 2913 p4p, 4540 weight class) and Grace Neko (ranked 0 p4p, 393 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Channel Coco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Grace Neko!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coco tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Neko swivels and escapes.
Coco closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Neko to the mat! Neko manages to get full guard.
Neko wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Coco manages to pass to side control.
Coco will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Coco prevents Neko from improving his position.
Coco scoring with strikes to the body and head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coco decides to return to a standing position.
Neko checks a leg kick nicely.
Coco closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Neko quickly recovers to half guard.
Neko is trying to escape back to his feet but Coco uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Coco is working Neko over with some ground and pound from side control.
Coco cracks Neko with an elbow. That is naaassty.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Coco tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Coco is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Neko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Coco's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Coco advances to mount.
Coco looking to isolate an arm here. Neko doesn't see it coming and as Coco extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Coco!
