Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mfer Phol (ranked 2581 p4p, 3184 weight class) and Tom Tuttle (ranked 98 p4p, 115 weight class). Tom Tuttle acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mfer Phol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Tuttle!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuttle wants to clinch.
Tuttle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Tuttle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Phol manages to avoid it.

and Phol counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Phol looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Come on Phol - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Phol lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Tuttle or not.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tom Tuttle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
