Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Luis Santos (ranked 23005 p4p, 4959 weight class) and Petr Sirotek (ranked 688 p4p, 561 weight class). Sirotek has chosen Igraj moja Hrvatska as his entrance music. Petr Sirotek will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luis Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Petr Sirotek! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Sirotek misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Santos.

Santos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sirotek. Santos gets tackled into the ropes by Sirotek. Sirotek maintains the clinch. Sirotek just leaning against Santos, taking a breather. Santos lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sirotek backwards. Sirotek pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sirotek darts in and clinches Santos up against the ropes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santos is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Santos managing to block the knees to the body from Sirotek.

Sirotek throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sirotek drives through and clinches with Santos against the ropes.

Petr Sirotek dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Santos has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Sirotek pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sirotek lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Santos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Santos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Santos jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Petr Sirotek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Luis Santos's cut. That's time! Santos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Sirotek misses with a hook. Luis Santos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Santos gets tackled into the ropes by Sirotek. Sirotek maintains the clinch. Santos lands a shot to the body. Santos tries to work over Sirotek's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Santos is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Santos throws an elbow that misses.

Sirotek is trying to maintain a safe position but Santos gets an underhook and turns Sirotek into the ropes. Santos manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Petr Sirotek. Well Sirotek has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
