Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jalen Kendrick (ranked 23379 p4p, 23312 weight class) and Udonis Okoro (ranked 634 p4p, 615 weight class). Okoro comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The HU - Sad But True kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Udonis Okoro is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jalen Kendrick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Udonis Okoro!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okoro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kendrick tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Nice body punch from Kendrick - that landed with a thud.
Kendrick is trying to pull guard but Okoro turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Okoro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Okoro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kendrick has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Chuckles Strenght and Conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Kendrick will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Okoro stalks Kendrick and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kendrick's face. Kendrick staggers backwards, shaken.

Okoro's coach down at Irish Collar & Elbow Academy (ICE) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Okoro's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Udonis Okoro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kendrick lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Okoro will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Okoro moves in looking to clinch but Kendrick pushes him off.

and Kendrick counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Udonis Okoro will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Kendrick has a hand on Okoro's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Okoro takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Okoro is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kendrick can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kendrick is looking to improve his position but Okoro isn't that keen on the idea.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Okoro! Kendrick is hurt baaadly! Okoro is firing away with more strikes - Kendrick is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Jalen Kendrick spoke after the fight, saying 'Sorry for the loss, I'm going to keep training and come back stronger. I'm not going anywhere, but sorry to my mom if she is still watching.'.
