Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Graham Carlson (ranked 4553 p4p, 4541 weight class) and Haroon Bloggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlson's entrance music is It Never Rains In Southern California . A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Graham Carlson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Haroon Bloggs! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carlson tries to keep at a distance but Bloggs has taken the fight into the clinch. Bloggs drags the fight down to the ground.
Carlson trying to control the position from guard on top but Bloggs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bloggs looking to control.
Bloggs working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carlson. Bloggs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carlson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bloggs utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Carlson connects with a couple of short punches. Carlson looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carlson trying to control but Bloggs is working from the bottom. Bloggs seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bloggs keeping moving, preventing Carlson from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bloggs shoots in looking for a takedown. Carlson tries to sprawl out of it but Bloggs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carlson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bloggs tries for a takedown but Carlson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Some wild striking there from Carlson.
Carlson tries to clinch but Bloggs is having none of it. Bloggs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Graham Carlson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haroon Bloggs. Carlson scores with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carlson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Carlson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carlson wants it to stay on the feet. Bloggs shoots in and drives through. Carlson sprawls well. Carlson scores with a one two! Bloggs had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Haroon Bloggs has been cut. Bloggs shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Bloggs rushes Carlson and presses him up against the cage. Carlson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bloggs smiles and moves away.
Bloggs lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Carlson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bloggs avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bloggs tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carlson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bloggs somewhat. Bloggs throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Carlson tries to counter with a takedown but Bloggs is quick to defend against it. Bloggs throws a series of punches but Carlson avoids them all with ease. Carlson gets tackled into the cage by Bloggs. Bloggs maintains the clinch. Carlson jumps guard but Bloggs stands there with Carlson around his waist. Carlson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bloggs rushes Carlson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Carlson breaks the clinch.
Carlson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bloggs tries to buck Carlson off but Carlson is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. You can see the frustration on Bloggs's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Carlson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Carlson avoids the strikes from the bottom by Bloggs. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Graham Carlson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Haroon Bloggs's cut. That's time! Carlson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The fight stays on the outside here - Carlson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Carlson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bloggs paws at him with a jab and circles away. Carlson looking to score a takedown here. Bloggs is defending well but Carlson drives through and ends up in Bloggs's guard. Carlson is fighting to break Bloggs's control of his arms but Bloggs is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Bloggs is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Carlson is aware though and is defending well. Carlson advances position into side control! Bloggs is not content to let Carlson control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Bloggs's face as Carlson controls the position.

Bloggs knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Graham Carlson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Carlson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bloggs's shoulder. That is not cool. Carlson wants to control but Bloggs is keeping him busy. Bloggs is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bloggs flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Bloggs is looking for a sweep. Carlson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Carlson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Carlson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carlson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bloggs. Carlson misses with a shot to the body and Bloggs counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carlson throws a series of punches but Bloggs avoids them all with ease. Carlson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bloggs as he jumps to the side. Carlson stuffs the takedown attempt from Bloggs. Bloggs gets slowly back to his feet. Carlson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bloggs counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bloggs looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Carlson is fending him off so far but Bloggs persists. Nope, Carlson circles away and we're back to standing. Graham Carlson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haroon Bloggs. Bloggs closes the distance and clinches up with Carlson, looking for a takedown. Bloggs pushes Carlson against the cage but Carlson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bloggs throws a right hand that Carlson ducks under and follows up with a left that Carlson also avoids with ease. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carlson is defended easily by Bloggs. Bloggs throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. It appears Carlson was looking to counter with a kick there. Bloggs lands with a nice body punch. Graham Carlson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Carlson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Carlson wants it to stay on the feet. Carlson gets tackled into the cage by Bloggs. Bloggs maintains the clinch. Bloggs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bloggs gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carlson is trying to break free. Bloggs gets control of Carlson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bloggs will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Bloggs is looking to sweep but instead, Carlson has passed into half guard.

Carlson is trying to control the action in half guard but Bloggs is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bloggs has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carlson is working away from the top position though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Haroon Bloggs will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Haroon Bloggs's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Bloggs looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bloggs moves into range and clinches up with Carlson. Bloggs jumps guard but Carlson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Carlson tries to pull guard but Bloggs forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Carlson jumps guard but Bloggs stands there with Carlson around his waist. Carlson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Carlson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bloggs has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bloggs and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Bloggs shoots for a takedown but Carlson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Carlson stuffs the takedown. Carlson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bloggs did well to prevent Carlson getting side control. Bloggs has one foot on Carlson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Bloggs moves into range and clinches up with Carlson. Bloggs is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Carlson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Graham Carlson. I think Carlson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
