Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Not Ponor (ranked 1663 p4p, 2930 weight class) and Marciano Cobb (ranked 243 p4p, 385 weight class). Cobb is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Miley Cyrus - Party In The U.S.A.. Marciano Cobb has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Not Ponor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 37 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marciano Cobb! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cobb swings widly with a right hand
and Ponor counters with a nice body kick. Cobb clinches with his opponent.
Cobb with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Ponor lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Cobb misses with a punch on the inside.
Ponor is looking to break free of the clinch but Cobb has double underhooks. Ponor can't find room to land a body shot as Cobb controls the action.
Cobb breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ponor avoids a lazy jab quite easily. It looked like Ponor wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Cobb misses with a lunging right hand
letting Ponor counter with a right hand. Cobb misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cobb throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ponor's head.
It looks like Not Ponor has been cut. Ponor tries to bum rush Cobb with a series of wild strikes but Cobb uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cobb throws a leg kick which misses Ponor's front leg but catches the back leg as Ponor tries to avoid it. Ponor has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cobb thuds a left hand into Ponor's body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ponor swats away the attempt to clinch by Cobb. Cobb turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Cobb throws a leg kick but Ponor checks it. Cobb misses with an uppercut. Ponor with a body punch. A glancing blow. Ponor checks a low kick from Cobb. Ponor throws a head kick that misses. Ponor uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cobb. Cobb thumps Ponor with a low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ponor slips under a jab from Cobb. Ponor thinks about countering with a head kick. Cobb is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ponor. Ponor is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Cobb fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ponor has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Ponor staying out of range there. Good exchange - Cobb coming out on top. Cobb clinches up with Ponor and pushes him back against the ropes. A head punch on the inside from Ponor fails to land. Cobb lands with a left to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ponor. Cobb is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Ponor has a couple of punches blocked by Cobb.
Cobb takes a shot to the head. Ponor lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes. Ponor pushes Cobb back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. Cobb is leaning against Ponor and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. A left hand lands to the body for Ponor.
Cobb looks winded! Cobb prevents a body shot from Ponor. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Marciano Cobb dominated that round. The cut man is working on Not Ponor's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Cobb tries to clinch but Ponor moves away and Ponor counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Ponor ducks under a wild hook from Cobb. Ponor stuns Cobb with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Ponor throws a nice inside leg kick. Cobb misses with a double jab.
Cobb has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ponor finds it's way round the side to connect with Cobb's head. Marciano Cobb seems to be getting the better of the standup. A low kick from Cobb is predictable there and Ponor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Cobb misses with a hook
and Ponor counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Cobb badly! Ponor follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Cobb out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Ponor finished him against the ropes.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Not Ponor! After winning the bout, Not Ponor thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
