Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Dungey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leonzar Kennedy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kennedy.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Kennedy darts in trying to clinch
and Dungey counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dungey stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Dungey misses with a wild combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dungey paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Kennedy tests Dungey's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Eric Dungey has been cut.
Kennedy avoids the body shot from Dungey.
Dungey looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Dungey drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Kennedy throws the left hand but Dungey avoids the punch easily.
Dungey swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Dungey fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kennedy.
Kennedy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Dungey scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kennedy doesn't seem bothered though.
Dungey misses with a double jab.
Kennedy replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Dungey blocks it well.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dungey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kennedy throws out the jab.
Kennedy stuffs the takedown attempt from Dungey. Dungey gets slowly back to his feet.
Leonzar Kennedy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kennedy takes a swing at Dungey's ribcage but misses.
A little feinted left hand from Dungey on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Kennedy closes the distance looking to clinch
and Dungey counters with a three punch combo that has Kennedy backing up. Kennedy nods at Dungey to acknowledge the strikes.
Dungey avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice uppercut there from Kennedy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kennedy throws a series of punches but Dungey avoids them all with ease.
Dungey walks into a stiff left hand from Kennedy.

A close round but Leonzar Kennedy will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kennedy rushes Dungey and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kennedy is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Dungey is defending well for now.
Dungey lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kennedy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Kennedy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Both fighters circling a little - Kennedy finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Dungey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dungey changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Kennedy lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

and Kennedy scores with a counter punch that sends Dungey to the canvas! Kennedy smells blood - he's punishing Dungey with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Dungey has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
