Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Agansing Rai (ranked 474 p4p, 1018 weight class) and Moshe Weiss (ranked 73 p4p, 144 weight class). Rai comes to the cage accompanied by Break Stuff. Agansing Rai has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Agansing Rai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Moshe Weiss! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Rai. Weiss swings widly with a right hand
and Rai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Weiss slips a jab from Rai. Weiss avoids the body shot from Rai.
Weiss misses with a hook. Rai ducked under it nicely. Weiss scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Agansing Rai has been cut. Weiss tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rai was well out of range. Poor timing from Weiss. Rai was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Rai's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Weiss connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rai scrambles back to his feet. Rai is looking to slow Weiss down with leg kicks. Rai sizes up Weiss with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Rai moves into range and connects with a jab. Weiss wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rai throws a big shot that misses. A jab from Rai finds it's way through Weiss's defenses. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Weiss has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Rai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Weiss uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rai. Rai lands with an uppercut that bounces Weiss off the cage and back into range. Weiss takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Agansing Rai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Weiss closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Weiss lands in his opponent's guard. Rai wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Weiss manages to pass to side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Weiss is trying to control. Rai wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Weiss perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Weiss passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rai! Rai is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weiss throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Weiss tries to control but Rai wriggling away. Rai is trying to escape the mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Weiss controlling his opponent. Weiss is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rai can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Rai is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rai is working hard here to advance position. Weiss jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rai is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rai and Weiss has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Weiss thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Weiss trying to control the position but Rai is working away.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Weiss goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rai has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Weiss but great work by Rai. Weiss can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Weiss is looking for a sweep. Rai will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Weiss has one of Rai's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Rai is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Weiss is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Weiss manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Weiss is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rai pulls his head out easily. Weiss trying to hold on to Rai's head to control him but Rai postures up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Agansing Rai will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Agansing Rai's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Weiss fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Weiss avoids the body shot from Rai.

Rai takes a swing at Weiss's ribcage but misses. Rai jabs Weiss right on the nose. Weiss blinks but takes it well. Rai swings for the body but Weiss moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rai misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Weiss.
Rai cracks Weiss with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Rai moves out of range of the strikes. Rai misses the jab. Weiss misses with a takedown attempt and Rai counters with a nice body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rai throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Weiss on the side of the head. Weiss misses with a looping right. Agansing Rai is winning the standup battle so far. Rai fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Weiss loads up on a big right hand but Rai slips the punch. Weiss displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rai throws out the jab. Weiss goes for a double leg but Rai avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rai continues to drive forward. An attempted straight right counter from Rai misses the target. Agansing Rai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Moshe Weiss. Rai stuns Weiss with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Rai jabs Weiss right on the nose. Weiss blinks but takes it well. Weiss takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Weiss scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rai in his tracks. Rai scores with a punch to the head. Weiss takes a swing at Rai's ribcage but misses. Rai throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Weiss throws a big shot that misses. Rai looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rai takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Rai's corner calls for a 1-2. Rai obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Weiss gets a double leg takedown into Rai's guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Rai manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Rai makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Rai is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Weiss can do to turn this around? Rai breaks the clinch.
Weiss lands a body shot.
Weiss dives in for a single leg takedown but Rai sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Rai uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Weiss. Nice uppercut there from Rai. Rai looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weiss gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rai counters with a straight right hand. Weiss doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rai counters with a left to the body. Rai throws a combination. Weiss tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Weiss throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Weiss tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Weiss manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rai on his heels. He'll look to pass Rai's guard now, I'm sure. Rai has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Weiss has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rai pushes Weiss back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Weiss is breathing heavily. Rai pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rai misses with a series of wild punches.
Weiss misses with a hook. Rai throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rai cracks Weiss with an open hand slap. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Good shot there by Weiss. Weiss slips under a jab. Rai swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Weiss. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Agansing Rai dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Agansing Rai's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Rai throws a body shot but no joy. Weiss shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rai defends it nicely. Weiss bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rai's head backwards. Rai keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Rai lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Weiss at a distance.

Rai was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Rai throws a big shot that misses. Rai slaps away a takedown attempt from Weiss, before circling back to the center of the mat. Agansing Rai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Moshe Weiss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rai lands an overhand right. A jab from Weiss misses. Rai is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Weiss bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rai scores with a crisp jab that stopped Weiss in his tracks. Rai jabs at Weiss's body. Weiss misses with a takedown attempt and Rai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Weiss tries to move into range but Rai moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Rai connects with the punch. Weiss looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. A solid leg kick lands there for Rai.
Rai looks to score with a jab to the body but Weiss is just out of range. Moshe Weiss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rai is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rai dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Weiss fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rai avoids it really well and circles away. Rai's jab looks to have found its range, popping Weiss under the eye. Rai connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Weiss uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rai.
Decent striking displayed by Rai there. A right-left combo lands from Rai. Rai closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Weiss blocks a head kick by Rai.
Weiss drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rai defends it well. Weiss staying out of range there. Rai jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nice shot lands for Rai. Weiss shoots in looking for a takedown but Rai manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Weiss's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Weiss keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rai. Agansing Rai is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Weiss cracks Rai with a right hand to the side of the head. Nice cross by Weiss. Rai fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Weiss fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rai manages to avoid it. Weiss decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Weiss takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rai is trying to stand up here but Weiss is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Weiss is working for a kimura but Rai is defending it quite comfortably.
Weiss stops Rai from getting back to his feet.
Weiss is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rai is not content to let Weiss control the position. Rai has his hands clasped together around Weiss's back. He's all about the action. Rai is trying to maintain the position but Weiss is very close to passing his half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Agansing Rai showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rai, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
