Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simone Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gianni Calouchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calouchi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gianni Calouchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Calouchi.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Calouchi but Calouchi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Jackson tries to lock up and control but Calouchi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Jackson is trying to drag Calouchi to the mat but Calouchi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jackson is going olschool here, as he tries to force Calouchi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Calouchi shrugs it off.
